Instrumentation was developed, which key feature was the fixation of the relative unambiguous geometric position of its elements: of an irradiation source, of a sample, and of a detector of gamma-radiation. The device allows measuring the absorbing ability of samples with different thickness using reference gamma-ray sources from nuclides 241Am, 137Cs, 60Co, 133Ba, 152Eu.
A technique of imitative tests of metal and composite materials for determination of their protective properties under β-radiation from 90Sr+90Y source was developed.
The technique, besides the prize in time, is simple and inexpensive, compared to experiments in space or at accelerator.
A multichannel strip diamond detector of electron- and gamma-radiation was developed for a precision measurement of the electron beam profile at the escape of accelerator. The intrastrip resistance and uniformity of electrophysical and radiation performances of the detector were investigated.
