Laboratory is equipped with vacuum and ultrahigh vacuum laboratory equipment:

        

          - electron-beam plants for melting and refining of metals;

- vacuum-arc set for production of alloys;

- plant of zone electron-beam without crucible melting;

- sets for realizing of high temperature annealing;

- sets for investigation of thermal desorption of materials

 

Laboratory possesses the unit for metallographic investigation equipped with optical microscopes, hardness gauges, equipment for specimen preparation and area of investigation of properties of metals and alloys.
