A visa is required for foreign citizens to enter Ukraine. To get
the visa one should apply to a Ukrainian Consulate office abroad.
Please, note that if you travel to Kharkov via Russia you must
apply for both the Ukrainian and Russian visas, which must be
MULTIPLE ENTRY (or at least TWO-TIMES entry) if you return to the
country of arrival.
The Organizing Committee can provide you with a visa support. This
should simplify the issuing process and make the visa free of
charge (usually it costs from 50 USD to 150 USD). To obtain visa
support, please, complete and e-mail us the enclosed
REGISTRATION FORM at your earliest convenience.
We hope that visa formalities will not take much of your time.
In case if you have any problems with the organization of your
trip to Kharkov or with getting the Ukrainian visa, please do not
hesitate to contact the Organizing Committee.
To reach Kharkov you may take a plane for Kiev where you will be
met by Conference organizers. Depending on the time of your
arrival and at your will, we shall organize your further trip to
Kharkov (which is 450 km from Kiev) either by a comfortable bus
or by an overnight train (the tickets will be booked by the
Organizers). In the first case you will have an opportunity to
see marvelous Ukrainian landscapes and countryside.
There also exists a direct (but more expensive) flight from Vienna
to Kharkov with Austrian Airlines.
If before or after the Kharkov Conference you plan to go to
Russia, you may take a plane to Moscow, where you will be met by
Organizers and accompanied to take an overnight train to Kharkov
(which is 800 km from Moscow). Train tickets will be booked by the
Organizers.
