Accelerating complex for study of helium and hydrogen behavior in conditions of generation of radiation defects

  • Simultaneous implantation of helium and hydrogen is realized by two irradiating assemblies which provide the possibility to vary the particle energy in the range 3…50 keV.;
  • Irradiation of specimens and investigation by nuclear-physical methods is performed in one experimental chamber.ss

Two-beam accelerating installation “ANT”

Accelerating complex where two high-voltage accelerators of the Kokroft and Uolton type with aligned beams of ions are assembled on one bed-support (M1=1…14, M2=1…40a.e.m.) with energy 20 and 100 keV, respectively.

Beam I – E=1-20 keV; 15 µA;
Beam II – E=15-100 keV; 10 µA;
(hydrogen, deuterium, helium, nitrogen, oxygen)

The assembly represents the irradiating facility; target chamber is placed outlet the irradiating facility and is completed with detector (or several detectors) for measurement of partial pressure of gases released of irradiated target on its heating.
