The International Conference and School on Plasma Physics and Controlled Fusion will be held on September 13-18, 2004 in Alushta (about 40 km from Yalta) at the “Dubna” seaside resort. This Conference-School will follow the Ukrainian National and International Conferences and Schools on Plasma Physics, which were organized by National Science Center “Kharkov Institute of Physics and Technology”. The previous such conferences and schools with foreign participants were held in Alushta in 1998, 2000 and 2002. During those conferences there were presented numerous of invited talks and contributed papers on recent achievements of different plasma research centers. The proceedings of those conferences were published in journal ”Problems of Atomic Science and Technology”, series: "Plasma Physics". More than 100 Ukrainian scientists and 65 foreign participants presented about 220 reports during previous International Alushta Conference of 2002.
