XIII INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE

"PLASMA ELECTRONICS
AND NEW ACCELERATION METHODS"

August 24-28, 2015, Kharkov, Ukraine

 

 

The XIII International Conference will be held at V.N. Karazin Kharkov National University, which is situated on 4 Svoboda Sq. The registration of participants will take place in the Hall of V.N. Karazin Kharkov National University during the following hours:

Monday, August 25   from 7.00 am till 11.00 am

 

Travel Information

Kharkov is to the north-east from Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, about 450 km away. Kharkov can be reached either by regular or express train (from Kiev Railway Station) or by bus (from Borispol Airport) or by plane on local flight (from Zhulyany Airport). Time of travel is approximately 8.3 and 4.6 hours for regular and express train correspondingly; 6.5‑7 hours for traveling by bus and 1.5 hours for traveling by plane.

 

Visas

Participants who need a visa to enter Ukraine should contact Ukrainian Embassy or a Consulate well before the Conference. Since an invitation letter is sometimes required for the visa procedure, please indicate in the Registration Form, if you need it.

 

Registration fee

The registration fee of 50 USD entitles the participants to a copy of the conference proceeding (distributed at the meeting). The registration fee also covers the welcome reception on Monday, August 24.

 

Method of Payment

All payments must be done in cash during the registration procedure.

 

Accommodation

All room reservations are being handled by "KHARKIV" Hotel (Building #5) that is situated on 7 Svoboda Sq. Hotel is within five minutes walk of the Conference site.

 

The deadline for hotel reservations is August 1, 2015. We kindly ask to inform the Conference Organizing Committee about the hotel reservation by e‑mail: pl_el@kipt.kharkov.ua

 

Daily rates per room start from about 53 USD for Building #5. A continental breakfast for all those who will be hosted at Building #5 of "Kharkiv" Hotel is included in the rate.

Lunches

Participants will have several lunch options. A cafeteria style, hot lunch will be available at the conference site. The price for this lunch will be approximately 5-7 USD. There are also a lot of restaurants in a short walk from the conference site.

 

Social Events

Welcome reception: All participants and accompanying persons are invited to attend the welcome reception that will be held on Monday, August 24, in the evening starting at 6.00 pm at the conference site.
