KIPT/Kharkov CMS Linux Cluster

Description

The NSC KIPT specialized Linux cluster is constructed for carrying out work on
CMS physics simulations and data processing. The configuration of the portable batch system (PBS)
of the cluster is opitimized to perform the Monte-Carlo simulations of CMS physics.

Hardware&Software

The cluster consists of 14 computation nodes (28 CPU's, 58.3 Gflops), 12.5 TB HDD connected by the 100 Mbit/s Ethernet.
All the hosts run Scientific Linux CERN 3.
