The mission and lines of research

Development of instrumentation based on the semiconductor sensors of Si, GaAs, CdTe, CdZnTe and CVD diamond films, including those for NPP, Chernobyl zone, spent fuel storage, and radiation technologies

• Investigation and manufacture of CZT and CdTe sensors
• Investigation and manufacture of CZT and CdTe detector modules and instrumentation
• Dosimetry and spectrometry
• Radiation detectors made of CVD diamond films
• Application of measuring equipment with radiation detectors in NSC KIPT
• Monte-Carlo simulation of CdZnTe detectors

Laboratory staff is an expert in successful international cooperation, managing and participation in a number of R&D projects.
